Nothing better than buying someone else's well cared-for 996, at the 'yuuuge' discount they now display.
Like buying money at .50 on the dollar. Particularly the 996TT or C4S.
Welcome aboard.

Congrats. It's a beautiful car. Turbo twists look night and day different with a black powder coat. May not be your style though.

Now the yellow GT2 that was there.....that's a car I would like to own!
I actually prefer the 996.1 headlights to the 996.2... The "2's" look "droopy eyed" to me... I never did get the "fried egg" nickname for the original lights - especially if you don't have the orange directional - (don't fried eggs have the yellow in the middle?) - and the fact that they were borrowed from the GT1 race car is kind of cool. I think the fact that they were shared with the Boxter was the true killer for the Porsche Cognoscenti...To each his own...

Yeah, if those are widebody twists, hell, I'd do you a favor and dispose of them for you for free. Heck, I might even pay the cost of shipping them from Colorado to KC.

Hey, KC get in line! The twists on my 2005 996 C4S are 18x8 ET50 and 18x11 ET45. If you are selling let's talk.

I recall reading your post on the GT3 forum when you picked up the 3.1. I cant remember a time where I saw a post of someone with a GT3 buying a non 3 996 but its definitely great to see. Congrats on the polar silver 4S, they are great cars as well.

Cool! Yeah it's not the normal progression, like I said the car was too nice to pass up. I have seriously considered a 996 GT3, but they keep going up in price and at this point another GT3 seems like overkill. Enjoying the C4S..
