Default Replacing the oil pressure sender

Just ordered it (thanks Jason@paragon!)

Any tips for replacing? Looks like I need a right angle box wrench attachment for my ratchet.... 19mm?

Get a crows foot wrench. Much easier, I used one. I forget the size but here is info on them.

19mm, get a thin one or grind it thin.

Before wrenching with the 19MM crow foot wrench remove the rectangular aluminum heat shield (2x10mm bolts) from the right side of the engine for more clearance.

Thanks guys! The current one is temperamental.... Some occasional bouncing and every once in a while it shuts off.

Drove all day yesterday and it was perfect.... So I think it's on the way out.

I'll grab a crows foot and grind it down!

A "wobble" extension helps also with angle. And remember, tightening and loosening is opposite in direction due to access from the bottom. (Righty-Loosey, Lefty-Tighty)

Before you change it out completely, clean off the terminals to the existing one, sometimes it's just a bad contact. Did that with mine, cleared up all the problems.....been a couple years now!
