A hood that happens to be black - but is also carbon fiber or fiberglass and has functional cutouts so it serves a purpose AND is lighter than the factory hood - is cool. A vinyl-wrapped hood - which is the factory hood PLUS a quarter-pound of stickers - is less so.

That car looks SO DAMN HAPPY. Just look at it! "I have a stupid hood and I don't even mind because HAPPY!"

If that car had a name, it would be Porschey McPorscheface.

OPION: Love the stripe - it's not confined by the dimensions of a single panel. Not too Drifter-Japanese; slightly restrained, but breaks up the monotonous red.

The rounded end of the strip makes me think "pantyliner" - but maybe I've just seen one too many of those in situ and the rest of you don't see feminine hygiene products in your paint.

I'm also with Groovzilla on not really liking black wheels either. And, FWIW, I also don't understand why people black out the gas cap lids on cars either. I'm not so offended by the fender guards although I agree they're totally unnecessary on a narrow body but I don't see them as an improvement to the NB cars.
