Ken, did you have the "Sports Exhaust System" (option code - XLF)?

Oh, I have the same option. My wife complains it's too loud. hahaha

Does yours have the "nagging wife eject" option?

I was lucky enough to have married a car girl! She loves the current sound.

Quick update...
As I was working on replacing my jacked up PSE exhaust, every bolt broke. I have replacement parts on order. As I was fishing around the engine bay, I have replaced the plugs, oil pressure sending unit, serpentine belt, and air filter. I am waiting on new Beru coil packs to arrive from NAPA and some additional exhaust bolts. I also removed the PSE vac canister since the nipple for the line was busted. I also got the PSE vac lines blocked off so nothing was open ended and causing a vac issue.

Unless a miracle happens and shipment get here early, the C4S won't make it to the swap meet this weekend. bummer...

Can you provide pics of the vac canister? And location?

The canister is on the right side of the engine bay in between the intake manifold runners. It is above the oil pressure sender.

For this, you can use a generic VW canister for fraction of the price. There are some aftermarket systems that omit the canister altogether as well.

Update! After getting home from the Swap meet Saturday, my long awaited bolts arrived! I was able to get everything buttoned up and tested! Took it out today for a run and it sounds and drives so much better!
The list of what I have done in the last month since I have taken over care of this C4S:
- New Serpentine belt
- New Plugs
- New Coil Packs
- New Oil pressure sending unit
- Fabspeed Max-Flow exhaust mufflers
- New cabin filter
- New main air filter
- Remove and block off all old non functioning PSE vacuum parts

Projects to do as preventitive maintenance
- AOS replacement
- Waterpump replacement
- Thermostat replacement

Major detailing project next!

Looking forward to enjoying the car now that it is running correctly.

That's awesome. Working on these is challenging but fun.

FYI, the AOS is supposed to be a lot easier if you drop the tranny and go in that way. If you go through the front, dropping the engine a few inches and loosening the intake manifold before taking off the plenums will save you some time over the pelican instructions.
