Default Window regulator repair sleeve

Has anyone used the EPS window regulator sleeve? My driver side window regulator cable has stretched a little so my window don't hardly go down anymore when the door handle is pulled. I was considering a new regulator then I came across this

I'm wondering if this will do the trick. I did a search and didn't come up with anything. Has anyone ever tried this as an alternative to buying a completely new regular just for a slightly stretched cable?

The oem regulator lasted you more than a decade. I say just get a new regulator and be done with it.

My question is not about cost. It's about design. The slight cable stretch is a very common issue. This looks like a much better design than the plastic oem part and may allows more adjustment range. I just wondered if anyone had real experience using it. If it works I'd rather fix the issue rather than replacing the entire regulator.

Before they started to offer the sleeves some folks used these bicycle cable adjusters.

Great idea. This is the second time I've had this problem on the same (driver side) door and now that I'm looking closely, it seems the passenger side has stretch a bit also. If theres a better solution than replacing then (again), I'm all ears... Thanks.
