Default Anyone have Arctic Silver with Black Rims?

I'm looking for some pictures of Arctic Silver with black or dark gray rims. Anyone have any or know where I might be able to see some. I'm considering getting some I-Forged rims. I-Forged Web Link

Anyone have any experience with these? My buddy just bought a set for his Vette and the build quality looks very good.

Don't know whether I want black inners with a polished outer lip or all black.

Jake,

I am thinking of the exact same thing for my GT3 CS. I plan to run two sets of GT3 wheels (street /R compound tyres) and using the original set which are slightly scuffed for the R compound and having them refurbished in matt black with polished lip and purchase a new set of original GT3 wheel/tyre package for around USD 2000 (Porsche dealer promo) and sell on the new tyres that come with the package, since my current street tyres are new.

I will keep you posted on what happens.

Ciao,

Johannes E.

Is that an international Porsche dealer promo? Or is that just a special deal that you are able to get? $2000 for the set of wheels/tires is phenomenal, at least from a dealer.

Adam,

It is from the official Porsche importer. After converting with exact rate of exchange it comes USD 2539.- so a bit more than I indicated. Remember this is Gen 1 GT3 wheels with tyres.

That doesn't look very good, Jake. Is that what you are trying to do to your Porsche?

Hey Geneva,

How do you like your Sport Techno wheels? I've been thinking about getting a set, but I'm not sure how light they are compared to the 18" Carrera Wheels or the 18" Turbo Look II wheels. Hopefully they aren't much heavier than the 18" Carrera Wheels

Hey Adam.
I love the sport technos, very nice look on the C4S mostly. I wanted something new compared to the Turbo II 18's. It is really personal preference, I like them, I will say this much: it would depend on the color of your car. If you have a forest green for example, then they may look too flashy for the dark sophisticated luxary color, but brighter sportier looking colors do well with the sport technos. On your artic silver, the standerd Turbo II rims with the clear insignia, probably would be best. I haven't seen sport technos on artic before.
Good luck
