I have a 996.1 with factory fitted options such as sports suspension and partial Mk1 aero kit. I have sourced a factory GT3 (taco) wing which I'm going to buy to finish off the aero kit.
Now, my question is this: should I add the GT3 decals to the rear lid, 911 ones, Carrera ones or leave the lid without any decals ? What would you do ?
Your comments and reasons would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you know women that have been partially pregnant? Either the VIN says it's a GT3 or it doesn't. It may look like a GT3, but if it's not a GT3 then it's not a GT3.
Put the 911 badge on it. Put the Carrera badge on it. Skip badges altogether. I am firmly in the "don't badge it as something that it's not" camp though.

Understood. Of the last 3, which is preferable ?

My MKI is GT3-look enough that I sometimes have other club members ask if I was one of the GT3's at some recent event - but I still wouldn't label it a GT3, since it isn't.
Turbo-look cars come from the factory with the Turbo trimmings, but they don't get a Turbo badge...
But - as always - your car, do what you want. (Reminds me of a brilliant quote from high school - "It's my d**k, and my soap...I'll wash it as fast as I want to."
In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter. Someone who DOES know better recently asked me how many turbos my NA 996 has...
