Now before the purists complain, I'm not going to do this, but here's another way of looking at things.
I'm buying a genuine factory GT3 lid and wing which came from a crashed GT3 that is being broken.
If I were to put a 'GT3' decal on it, I wouldn't be lieing as the lid is a GT3 lid. If people make their own assumption that the whole car is a GT3, then that's their business
So, I've finally fixed on the rest of my GT3 aero kit and have decided to put 911 on the engine lid. I have also bought the 'PORSCHE' badge but am keeping that to see if I think it needs adding. Opinions would be nice too.
I'm showing my 'before' and 'after'. I bought the car with the sideskirts but not the front or rear spoiler which I've added. I think the rear spoiler in particular makes the car that bit more aggressive and eager looking which I like but I realise this isn't to everyone's taste. Tell me what you think. Thanks
The kit makes all the difference for that color! I don't like the before all all, but it looks great with the wing.
Stick with just the 911, don't add the P O R S C H E logo. It's for newer cars and on them I think the combination of the block and script looks bad so close together.
Yes, that was my opinion too with regard to the lettering. I did try it out with the latters Blutaced on but it seemed a little too noisey. I love the Porker logo just made the back very busy. I'll stick with the 911 for now.
Nice to see you agree with me re the spoiler...
Looks great! Mk I aero coupe is one of the best looking 911s made of ANY generation. Very unique and beautiful color. No need to pretend to be anything more than what it is bcz what it is is a very special car. If I were to change anything it would be to swap the 911 for Carrera chrome script. But the 911 is fine.
Put a GT3 badge in. It'll win the Internet and **** people off! That's what I did.

Now, my question is this: should I add the GT3 decals to the rear lid, 911 ones, Carrera ones or leave the lid without any decals ? What would you do ?
Your comments and reasons would be appreciated. Thanks
Put the 911 badge on it. Put the Carrera badge on it. Skip badges altogether. I am firmly in the "don't badge it as something that it's not" camp though.
