Alpine Installation and problem

Alpine Installation and problem
Decided to take a simple approach to upgrading the Bose/Cassette/ CD changer system in my 2002 Targa. Installed an Alpine 9815 in the slot that stored the cassettes . Unplugged the changer, used the Becker adapter, took the front RCA'as out of the Alpine into the Becker, turned on the Aux input and now I have a second head unit that plays CD's and MP3"s. Sounds pretty good (BassEngine Pro helps a bit in smoothing out the botttom end) and is much more flexible than the changer. One problem though. I cannot seem to get rid of some alternator noise through the system. Anyone experience this with an installation and more importantly been able to solve it? I'm connected directly to the battery and have done my best to isolate the power lead. I've also tried a filter. Any other suggestions

You may want to groung and power the alpine from the same points as the factory radio and amp to minimize the offsets between the units.
Is the noise on all modes? AM/FM/CD
Does the noise get louder with the volume or will the music become louder than the noise as you turn up the volume?

Eric, thanks for your feedback. I have not tried using the same points as the Becker. I think this is a great idea as there may be some downstream noise filtering in that power source as well. The noise is on all inputs and I think it's more variable with RPMs than volume.
