Default P1328 CEL (Inlet camshaft output stage?)

Hey guys,

I was driving home tonight, mostly highway for around 30 minutes, pulled into the driveway and my check engine light came on. Plugged in my GoPoint BT1 OBD scanner and got a P1328 error. I attached an image of what it reported, cylinder 4 or knock sensor 2 (bank 1). As for Porsche codes, this was all I could find on it:
P1328 Inlet camshaft output stage

I reset the CEL, restarted the car and everything seems to be ok. I'm planning to take it out for a spin tomorrow to see if it comes back. Think it's anything to worry about as long as the CEL doesn't come back?

Thanks!
Chris

P1328 is bank 1 inlet camshaft output stage - open circuit.

Basically you need to check the wiring continuity between the DME and the variocam timing solenoid (like a spark plug installed on the bank 1 cam cover) and if the solenoid gets 12v power and the internal resistance of the solenoid (8-12ohms @ 20C).
