Well, despite my thinking that swapping gauge faces was pretty easy (it was), it turns out that when removing the needle from my speedometer, the inner gear broke. The gauge cluster is now at Palo Alto Speedo and they are looking in their inventory for one. They say that it happens about 25% to 50% of the time when removing the needles on the speedos. If I had known that, I woulda outsourced it in the first place

If anyone has a 2002-2005 gauge cluster that the speedometer works in as a spare, I'd be interested. There are a few on eBay, but the asking prices are a little silly for some.

Thanks, they have several, but are also on crack for pricing. I'm hoping someone has one here that has another broken part or a spare lying around they want out of the way.
