Might want to check google.maps with traffic relief. I10 and I20 are in real trouble today as well. Anything west of OK city or Dallas is going to be slogged for 12 more hours maybe more. It's snow in Fort Worth right now.

Sorry, you picked a bad day. If you are warm and dry, stay put for another day, then it'll clear up some.

Restarting the trip today, roads have cleared and flood waters are receding in Oklahoma. Gonna work Route 66 over to Albuquerque today.

Cold but the sky is a beautiful blue and the P-car wants the frost gone!

I was just in Albuquerque 3 weeks ago. There is a nice car museum about half a mile from the Santa Ana casino, which also has a good Mexican restaurant inside the casino. Worth a look.

Did 1000 mile round trip from San Jose to San Diego down 101 ... Waze is great for spotting "hazards" along the route .... 911 ran flawlessly ... I think that is the longest trip I've done in the car ...seats are very comfortable - even after 8 hours in the saddle - and I even got to use the seat heaters in the freezing weather they had in San diego - it must have been well below 55f

Crisp morning here in New Mexico.

P-car is warming up for a two lane highway #152 in southern New Mexico.

Texas was kinda blah. Most the cool stuff was closed due to New Years...duh!

Dinner in Albuquerque was awesome. GREEN CHILLIES are awesome!

Today's goal is Bisbee, Tucson and maybe Phoenix.

Sedona AZ is awesome to see/drive mountainous roads may be tough depending on weather though!

Rolled through NM on 152, cool twists and scenery. Awful cold though so didn't get out much.
Headed down to the border near Agua Prieta and then up to Bisbee and Benson on Highway 80. Amazing open spaces and views.

Here is the link to a few photos. https://rennlist.com/g/album/4885969

Going to spend a few days here in Chandler/Phoenix before deciding the next stop. Was great to get out here into some 60/70 degree weather.

Benson RV park has an observatory and free nightly shows. I recommend it.

Deming, NM update.

There is an amazing restaurant called the Adobe Deli, if your ever in the area check it out. Great steak.

Snow, sleet and rain was a bit of a challenge but car did great. Stayed in my comfort zone, keep it between the lines. Really amazing how it can handle all the conditions it been put through the last few weeks.

Gas and blast! Deming, NM to Lake Charles, LA done. Took a couple of pics and will upload from laptop tomorrow to add to the album. West Texas was a breeze, wide open spaces with room to run.

Saw two P-cars out today, white 986 out in the western parts then a 996 going through Houston.

Car is running great, about 3800 miles so far since Xmas and another 900 will be in the driveway. Probably gonna take till the Rolex starts to get it clean!

Only issue is the drivers window is making noise but is still operational. Guess it will be my February project after getting a new set of tires as these Conti's are gonna be done soon.

Sounds like a nice trip. we all need to hit reset once in awhile. keep an eye on those rear tires if the rain comes. I had a hell of a time on balding rears coming back from the tail of the dragon. I look forward to the pictures.
