Just go to Toys R Us and get some foam pads for kids play areas. However, pumping the tires up works just as well. A carpet won't do anything really, but a piece of foam insulation might. Either way, after a heat cycle or two they will go back to be round anyways so I don't worry much about this.

Nice wing by the way. Saw one on a car like yours locally.

If you're really worried about flat spots you can go the full monty and get these:

Looks great! Do you have any photos from the underside where it bolts on? How hard was the prep and install? I was considering this wing and company. Thanks

I didn't take any pics of the underside of the lid, but it was a very simple installation. It took me about an hour once I marked where to drill mounting holes on the underneath side of the wing base and installed the bolts provided with the wing. There were four bolts on the "front" edge of the lid (nearest the rear glass) and six or seven bolts across the back edge. It utilizes the existing holes in the stock factory grill lid. Regarding prep, I had a local body shop prep and paint it. They did a perfect job.

If you're even moderately competent with basic hand tools, you shouldn't have any trouble.

NOTE: the original stock retractable spoiler was already removed and I was replacing a different fixed wing. If you have to start from scratch, it will take longer than the one-hour to install the new wing.
