Funny how years of 'snow'(ice) conditions here in the east can indeed make skiing out west to be such great fun. We went to Vail in 2000 with our family Dennis, and couldn't believe the magnitude of beauty and the Mtns. in Colorado. I've only skied twice this year so far at Loon. I had to prepare my head this season after tearing my Achilles last Feb., but all is good so far!
I haven't been up yet, which is unfortunate. Work has been crazy lately and I just haven't had the time. I'm hoping to head up this weekend, and I have lots of skiing planned towards the end of the year and into early January.

I too drive my 996 year round in Lake Tahoe/Reno and am an active skier at the big resorts. Here are some pics from last night, we got a little fresh dust. My 996 is a C2 with no PSM and is very engaging to drive in snow w/ Conti all seasons! The weight over those fat 285's in the back makes all the difference.

Guess ya never watched The Ten Commandments. It's lamb's blood.
The exodus of the Jews from Egypt The story is: Moses kept speaking to the Pharoah begging him to let the Israelite slaves free. The Pharoah said no so Moses said that God would send down 10 plagues to Egypt. These were: blood, frogs, lice, wild animals, sick animals, boils, hail, lcousts, darkness and, worst of all, the death of the first born. The Israleites would avoid the 10th plague by painting a red cross on their door of lamb's blood. If they did this, the plague would 'pass over' them. This is where passover got its name. Eventually, the Pharoh surrendered and told Moses to lead the slaves out of Israel.
