Hi, All;

Does anyone know of a snap-on "shield" that could cover the relatively soft vinyl inner sill plate (see red box in enclosed pic)?

When I have to squeeze into/out of the car with the door partially closed, I find I'm dragging my shoes across there, and it's starting to suffer.

you can repaint it with krylon acrylic flat black.

ebay also has some carbon fiber look wraps.

there are carbon fiber and stainless steel versions available

you can repaint them with ace hardware lacquer base flat black which is a exact match, and you can cover them with some clear bra material

Yeah just repainted mine and they look great.

It's incentive to lift you fat legs over the sill each time!
