Those domestic drive cycles don't work on the 996 evap system. I've tried. Just drive it and eventually it will be ready. No need to over complicate things. Just dive the damn thing.

That won't fail it as far as I know. You are allowed to have 1 or 2 not-ready monitors in Arizona at the time of the test.

Up here one not ready system is OK to get a pass. That's not the same as one failed system that trips the check engine light. The Evap is always the longest to become ready so I think the government let that was be not ready or else the used car dealers would need to drive their sold cars for days.
