readiness monitors
I had a CEL a week or so ago and got P300, P301 and P303 codes. They are misfire codes.
Cleared the codes and replaced the coil packs.
Still not 100% sure it was the coil packs and not an temporary injector issue.
No other codes present or cleared
In any case, I have 2 monitors that have not reset;
Catalyst and Evap system
I have driven the car a bit and even did an AX a few days ago.
How do I get the the monitors to reset and show ready?

There is a specific sequence of things you need to do in order for all of the monitors to reset quickly. I followed this to a T because I kept getting the SAI valves codes and needed to pass the OBD test in AZ. I reset the codes with OBD reader and did this cycle on the way to the test place. Car passed.
Drive cycle sequence I got off the web for my car is:
Start engine, idle cold for approx. 2 min, 10 secs.
Accelerate to 20-30 MPH, Maintain steady speed for approx 3 min, 15 secs.
Accelerate to 40-60 MPH, Maintain steady speed for approx 15 mins.
Decelerate and come to a stop. Idle in gear* for approx 5 mins.

Try this:
Cold engine idle for 2 minutes, then 10 miles local (with some traffic. Congestion ok) then ~10 miles highway as much steady speed as possible. Then let car rest till cold. Repeat the above sequence a few more times and those readiness should set if there are no issues.
Usually I can get those flags (evap + cats) set within at most 3 days of driving with mixed local and highway traffic.

Thanks. I'll try this next time and report back.

While a bit on the messy side the best method I've found involves a chicken, chanting unpronounceable words, and a knife...
I think it took about 3 months to get my Cayenne to cooperate the last time it got reset.

I did the above sequence last Monday prior to smog and it worked like a charm. shop reset everything changing my expansion tank. Key is not to exceed 3K RPMs the entire time or 60 MPH for the last part of the sequence. I did the first part on access roads close to my home then the second part on the freeway at 430 am when traffic was minimal. got passed by a bunch of semi's who i am sure where wondering who is this loser in the slow lane going 55 in a 911.

That is the guideline for what the CPU is looking for to run the tests... If you can stay on speed it does it faster... If not it will also work cumulative... I had to reinstall my Cats for my ILLINOIS testing... I followed the guidelines more or less and never ran over 3k or over 60mph... Most of the monitors reset to clean... Next day same idea but mixed city and HW driving... Not pushing it and turning on the AC for a while then the Defroster... All my monitors finally reset to Green. That was on last Saturday night... Then I jumped on it on Sunday and she pulled the dash light and a bunch of codes! I should have left her in the garage till I could take her to the test center...
Moral of the story (Monster run on sentence). Get an ODB Bluetooth scanner... Clear out all your codes, lights, stored data and then follow the reset program as best as you can... SOON as everything resets to Green TEST the car as soon as possible!
Then pull into the garage and pull the cats back OFF!
