My '04 C2 Cab has these slots under the front bumper cover and evidence that there was something installed there. I found what appears to be the right piece for this in the parts diagram but it says it is for a C4S...??? So, should my car have some rubber "fins" or something attached to these slots? Is the parts diagram incorrect about the part being C4S only?

That's where the airflow from the center radiator exits.

Just to clarify, I am talking about the narrow slots that are all the way across the front.

My '03 C2 Coupe has the same slots with nothing in them.

those are for a small rubber splitter,ill try to get the part #

When I had the PPI done on this car they noted some rubber or plastic flow thing was missing in the front and this is the only place I can think of where it might have been. I hate unsolved mysteries so thanks for any help on this.

If you can get the PN, that would be fantastic. I just installed the center radiator exhaust vent, and that rubber is clearly intended to create a low pressure area in front of the outlets.

I found an item that looks like it could fit in these slots. It is p/n 996 575 161 01 but this is the part that is noted "C4S".

So do all 996s have these slots like mine? And doesn't anyone have a car with something fitted in this area? I am tempted to try to order this piece just to see if it will fit but there should be a more certain solution.
