I believe I have found my new detailing routine . Here it goes if any one is interested in trying. Wash - Clay - Polish w/ Megs Ultimate Compound - Polish with Megs Mirror Glaze #7 - Layer Griots BOS Wax - Layer 1 (cure for 1 hour and do not remove) Layer 2 (cure over night and do not remove) Layer 3 (next morning cure for 2 hours) - buff clean using Griots spray wax to aid in removing the BOS wax. I used DA Polisher for the heavy lifting. It's a bit of a time commitment. It took me in total the better part of 3 days. Really pleased with the depth of the shine.
Thanks for sharing your regimen. I used the BOSS this summer, but probably started too conservative and still have some slight holograms left to remove.
The car looks amazing and a few days of car therapy are good once in a while!
What did you do that for? Now you can't take it on the tracks. Even if you do, we all know the prettiest cars tend to be the back markers.
Nice job!
Definitely won't stop the track action. Already got my next one planned. I'm deluding myself into thinking it will be easier to clean post track weekend.

Very nice.
My 02 is silver, polish it, don't polish it, pretty much the same.
Lately I have switched from Zaino to the Chemical Guys products.
I'm trying to talk myself into seeing a difference
Your car looks great. I would love to be able to spend that amount of time (without wife guilt-tripping me about it) to get those results.
Quick question, can you tell me more about your wheels? I have the same ones, but in the stock color. Would love to do something similar with mine. Did you have someone do them? Were they disassembled? Powder coated?
I have a Seal Grey '02 coupe, and am thinking the parts that you have as charcoal/dark grey might look really cool in gold (think BBS), and then leave the rest of the rim as brushed/polished as you have it.
