Hello,
First post here and 1st time porsche owner. I've been reading the forums for awhile and appreciate all the knowledge here. This site has been a wealth of information and thank you all for contributing. Just picked up a 2003 911 Cabriolet. 77k miles. Previous owner said there are HR springs and a Fabspeed exhaust. It's been a blast to drive. Getting the IMS, RMS, AOS, and clutch fixed next week. Hopefully maintenance will not kill me. If anyone is in the Bay Area, CA I'd love to meet up to admire other porsches.

I'd recommend joining a local chapter of PCA to meet other Porsche folks.
I'm recently transplanted from Boston and have transferred my membership to the local chapter. There are lots of social as well as driving opportunities that I'm sure you would enjoy.
Just curious (because I'm looking at all the maintenance you have scheduled) what sort of a quote you've received and from who in the Bay area?
BTW, welcome.

I love that colour. You are going to love your car, I know I do. This place is fantastic for up to date information and advise. I would second joining PCA, some dealers actually give PCA discounts too! Welcome!

psha8224, i called a bunch of bay area shops for quotes but concentrated on the approved LN list. Flint works and Cars Dawidiak quoted $3100 - IMS Single Row Pro, AOS, RMS, Clutch (no flywheel which would be another $1,000).

I wouldn't totally rely on the LN list as there are many Indies out there who are amazing and aren't bothered to give LN money to be on a list.
