Default Kudos to CAI for a nice radio installation kit

I discovered CAI through Rennlist a few weeks ago and as soon as I purchased my car, I called them and ordered a double-din kit. I originally wanted the Pioneer NEX 8100, but Ron talked me out of it, citing overall Pioneer reliability issues, easier installation with Kenwood and Pioneer's use of thin gauge wiring.

So, I went with the Kenwood 9902S based on their recommendation. My requirement was Apple Car play and HD Radio.

I couldn't be happier. It was 3 hours between the time UPS dropped off the box and the time I took this picture. If you want to replace your stock Becker, this is definitely the way to go.

Very nice! Like it.

But you know we will dissect your picture in good old Rennlist fashion. I noticed you're wearing rainbow dot shoes and your car is a tip.

1. Is it convertible?
2. Are you a hairdresser by chance?

Dude, those are Van's! Skateboard shoes. Nothing like a tasty wave and sun in my hair. And a nice babe. Too bad Atlanta is m-i-l-e-s away from salt water.

Oh, it is a convertible! You better cancel your account now. The boys will be on you till the end of time. ..... Just kidding.

But, seriously, nice job. I like it! Enjoy.

Your install looks good. I have the Pioneer AppRadio4 that I installed earlier this year. I like it, but agree with you on the concerns around thin wiring and overall reliability (it can be a little flakey sometimes).

The biggest complaint I have is lack of a physical volume **** and/or physical buttons. I wish I would have gone with a model that had those. I feel like it takes too much attention away from driving to fiddle with volume, tuning, etc.

Your install looks good and really up dates the look .Congrats and enjoy the ride

I installed a Kenwood 372 using the Del Rey kit.

Custom button lum to match stock interior and a stand alone microphone were two of my goals.

That doesn't mean too much. Nike has MEN's shoes that looks to be along the same lines too.

For the record, those are cool shoes. I'd rock 'em.

That's because you're in SoCal.

You can't get away with that around here.

Audio matters when one is driving a Tip. With a MS, the engine and exhaust provides the audio entertainment. lol

I'm betting that he's a manly Porsche guy but the tip and stereo are for the ladies.
