I am purchasing a set of brand new 19inch brombachers from Work Wheels for my 2004 996 MK2 narrow body. They have advised that the closest available is as follows:
F: 19x8 +46
R: 19x10 +63
Car is currently running stock suspension. Can anyone with experience tell me whether there is going to be any issue with rubbing etc? Will these offsets nicely fill out the wheel?
Looking at running these tyres:
F: 235/35
R: 295/35
thanks for the picture. do you mind sending more pictures of your car so i can get a really good idea of how mine will look? what tyres/offset you running in the front?

No problem. I'll get some more pics uploaded today. Not sure on the front, don't want to give you wrong info so I'll get back to you on the front size.
ok so after a little more research and sifting through countless peoples conflicting opinions i am thinking this set up will be fine with no rubbing on stock suspension and sit fairly flush:
F: 19x8 +45mm
R: 19x11 +65mm
235/35/19
295/30/19
will the change in overall diameter from OEM cause any issues? with thi offset will the wheels sit fairly flush? thoughts? alpine?
My 2 cents is to not go quite so wide in the rear. I have 19" Carrera Classics on my 996 c2 235/35 front, 295/30 rear and there is simply too much rear grip compared to front. I had Michelin PSS on the car and those are particularly wide at that size, now I have Bridgestone's which are significantly narrower (weird, I know) at 295/30 and the balance is better. Now entry understeer is much more manageable with trail braking.
I still think I would prefer the car on 235 + 285s, but I think 19s are a bad choice on this car in general. It rides too high and kind of looks like it's on wagon wheels... will probably pick up some 18s in the spring. But if all you care about is clearance, I have no rubbing with the bridgestones and stock suspension, even at autox. Offset on my wheels are 57 front, 67 rear
Here's the only pic of the side that I can find at the moment so you can see what I meant. PO put these on and they do fill the wells nicely I suppose... but now it approaches crossover levels of ground clearance lol.

That's basically what I stated from the beginning. Wheels will be flush and it will look great. If you want to track it and be the fastest and if you have good driving skills, then I'd recommend keeping a set of 18's on hand.
i too think those look great. so after requesting the prev mentioned offsets - work have advised they can only offer the following:
Step Rim
F: 19x8 +46
R: 19x11 +50
R: 19x10 +63
Non Step Rim
F: 19x8 +44
R: 19 x11 +63
Looks like to have the step rim I will have to get 19x10 in the rear and run a 285/30. Im thinking that the stepped lip would look better. Thoughts?
Only you can decide if you prefer the step rim. I see nothing wrong with the 19x10 running 285 in the back but it won't match the flushed look of the fronts. To do so, you will need to put spacers in the back(~10mm should be good and safe) so that it fills out and looks flush like the fronts.
