I am 6'3'' and am considering ordering the lowered seat option. Just not sure if it's necessary and if it will result in lost comfort with the removal of padding. Anyone have this option?

 

fwiw - Manual Sport Seats wil give you the lowest searing position and the lowered seat option will drop you down another 10mm.
I'am 6', right now I've got full electric seats w/lumbar and in a correct driving position I can not see the 4 on the tach. When I sit in sport seats, no problem

 

I am also 6'3" with 34" inseam and have had no issues with standard seats all the way down and back. In fact the wheel always feels a shade higher than ideal, although the instrument view is perfect.

My favorite interior mod is the GT-3 console delete, you might want to look into that.
