I kept a few boxes around. One at the photo studio, one at home, and one with me in whatever car I was driving. Never just one, since if it was that big of an emergency we could go get a box, one just wouldn't do it.

True story. Not really related to storage but is a condom story. I was scrubbed in the OR as a medical student at the height of the HIV scare and we were scrubbed with one of the oncologists (they are very serious people) on a big cancer case. He was asking everyone how they protect against HIV transmission such as double gloves, passing sharp instruments in a tray, etc.

The resident said "I use condoms. As a matter of fact I have one on right now"
