Default Fuse C3 blew: no windows, door locks etc

Randomly this morning my horn was beeping when I tried to unlock the doors with the remote. Eh weird I unlocked it with the key and went on with my day. Next thing I knew the windows wouldn't roll down. None of the buttons on the dash did anything (central locking etc)

Found fuse C3 15amp blown...

Put a new fuse in, everything is back to normal... Why would this happen? Where shouldn't start looking?

Check under your driver's seat and see if there is any moisture or puddle. Usually if the immobilizer get's wet in any way, it can create those exact symptoms.

Nothing wet.. Huh. I locked and unlocked the drivers door two times consecutively and it solved the central locking issues.

Such an odd thing.

Battery was new 2014, I will do some research on the ignition switch.

Mice shouldn't be a culprit, I pretty much drive the car daily when it's not raining.

Yeah Mice is sort of a joke on RL when there are electrical gremlins that can't easily be figured out. We always blame it on them as a scapegoat.
