I found a wrench!
Unfortunately I already have the same one in my tool collection. It's a 10mm 1/4" drive Craftsman ratchet. I found it under the rear carpet, on the shelf above the electronics. Now for the question. What was being worked on back there by the previous owner or his shop? ECU reflash? Electrical repair? Install of laser-guided missile system...?

It's IMS bearing related. The IMS bearing is in the rear-ish part of the car and you found the wrench somewhere close to the rear of the car. Clearly they were trying to replace the IMS bearing before it failed.
You should have the car flatbedded to your mechanic now. And, even though your car may be running perfectly right now, WYAIT, be sure to do the clutch, AOS, blah, blah, blah because someday one of those things might fail. And then where will you be? That's right - you'll have a car with a part that is broken and God forbid you have a car with a broken part when you could have replaced that part before it broke (you know, when the part was working fine).
Shouldn't cost more than $5,000 or so to get all of that stuff squared away. Do it now or you will surely pay later. Remember, there are no cheap Porsches. Sorry to break this horrible news to you Rick.

I opened up the tailcone to rudder joint of a Piper Cherokee a few years back and found a rivet bucking tool. Been in there since 1971 when the plane was built.
Ballast I guess.
Space Shuttle Endeavor had a stubby screwdriver float by one of the crew on it's first mission.

My son borrowed my S430 this spring to drive to spring break in Ft Walton Beach. About 3 weeks later the wife confronts me with various and sundry woman related appurtenances she found in my car. She is Spanish - so jump to conclusions first and let rational thought take a backseat til later.

If your car came with an owners manual, thumb through every page to make sure PO didn't stuff any bills in there for emergency and forgot about it. I found $200 in my last BMW in the manuals from the PO.

I found the complete set!
I found the complete Duralast 1/4 set while driving my Cayman S. My worry is where's the car? I'm hoping it's an air cooled 930 but there's no paint on the sockets to help with forensics. It was last seen under the wrenches near Conover NC. Please be on look out!
