MKII Instrument cluster

Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of you knew anything about this.

Would an MKII 911 gauge instrument cluster hook up to an MKI ('01 C2)?
Meaning would the displays and relays function properly?
(ie. digital speedo, trip computer, digital screen functions, gauges)

Or is the wiring setup totally different.

From what I have read here, it won't work mk1 is different than mk2 cars.
