Default Just felt like boring you with pictures of my 996.

Spent several hours sitting in cars and taking pictures at a car dealer...an XKE coupe, a very original Mercedes 190 SL, a roughly treated 993, a very tasty 356 C, a Maserati Bora, and many more. When it was all over I got back in my 996 and headed onto the I-5 for the ride home. And what I like was how I felt I was driving in a classic car but with the very nice modern improvements. Perfect seating position...smooth power curve...the brakes and gearbox and steering...as I cut through the traffic the new felt mighty good. Or at least the "newer"...after all it is a 12 year old car.

I like the 17" wheels on it! Have a set for the track...I bet the car handles and rides great with them, they are uber light!

button up your shirt fabio.

I'm sure the dealer must have loved you just feeling up their cars with your chest hair "out".

Dunno Johnny, those TT exhaust tips look out of place with those 17" wheels and no aerokit IMO.

However you do seem dressed the part to be driving that thing.

Is this guy your cousin?

Still wondering what you love more, your car...or you.

So what do you like to wear when it is just you and the 911 and the road?

"My favorite shoes are a pair of worn out Converse sneakers...the little toe on my right foot has worn a hole in the canvas. Add a pair of frayed Banana Republic khakis, a wrinkled oxford cloth button down collar shirt, and toss an army field jacket in the back seat. On my wrist, a fifty-three year old non-date Rolex Oyster Perpetual from the Caracas store of Serpico Y Laino."

I feel misled. Those converse appear new, and there's no photo of the watch.

Pink is the new LMFAO...

If you smeared some blood on one side of your head and added some yellow dye, you'd make a passable Van Gogh.

Crap, I nearly forgot - Don Johnson called while you were out taking pics. He said hi.

I have to admit that I scrolled slowly down this thread, SURE that there was going to be a payoff at the end. You, Mr. Ireland, did not disappoint.

Dammit, I keep humming Crockett's Theme by Jan Hammer...
