Default Special Request: Can somebody take a measurement for me?

I will give you an internet cookie for doing so.

When I did my interior upgrades, I changed the turn signal stalk to the four stalk unit....but obviously I put it too far forward on the steering column before I locked it in place.

If you can take a measurement as shown below and let me know what you get....if you put the tape on the inside of the steering wheel until it touches the turn signal (even though it doesn't look that way in the picture) and let me know what you get.

You can see at the top of the steering column there is a big gap....or if you want to take a picture of the gap on your car, I could figure out the rest....as long as you post the picture!

Danke!

2005 C4S(996) 3 1/4" turn signal stalk(not in bright position) to driver side of steering wheel. Your pic appears to be in the 4" range(?). Not sure if year would make a difference.

In addition: housing cover to steering wheel gap appears to be in the range of 3/8" or slightly more. It's hard to measure.

Mr. Billy: Thanks! That makes sense that I need to move it about 3/4".
