Default Squeak on the rear driver side

I just got a 996 this week and it had a creak, a squeak - the wooden ship thing in the back somewhere .....

I googled it- i read loads of posts here - i was convinced i was going to have to change out the ball joint and control arm etc etc....

I was under the car- rocking it back and forth trying to figure what was going on.
Squeaks drive you crazy and are hard to find ...

Anyway turns out the nut holding the black bar that goes across the suspension at 45 degrees just needed tightening up!!
That was it - squeak gone!

Worth a try.

Sorry do not know what the bar is called but found this pic - No17.
