Tons of nearby hotels in the area primarily because of Hershey Park, which will be dead this time of year. PORCAR had some very good reasonably priced ones which are also very close, within 15 minutes or so. For anyone looking to bring girlfriend/wife there is the Hotel Hershey, somewhat expensive but very nice.

The weather tomorrow is going to be one of the best in years for the event. Sunny, 70 degrees and no rain or wind.

Question for those who have been:

I'm still back and forth on whether or not I feel like making the drive. (It's 3 hours each way for me) I'm not really looking for anything to buy (famous last words), so it would just be to walk around and look at the cars.

Is there enough there to see to make it worth a 6 hour round trip?

I think it's worth doing at least once just to see all of the Porsches parked together like hundreds of little ants. So my opinion is yes, this would be the year to do it based on the weather conditions.

Planning to go based on the weather alone. Who else is going?

How does one identify other Rennlisters at the Swap meet?

I'll be wearing my "Dial in case of emergency" shirt and a black Porsche hat.

We'll all have one of these hanging from our rearview.

I agree with porcar. If you like to look at Porsches and just sort of randomly wandering around it will be worth it. With the weather report it will be one of the best turn outs ever. Last year was almost as nice as what they are calling for and it was huge.

It was a beautiful day. Enjoyed the drive up as much as the show.

I missed it this year, spent the day hitting myself in the face for making some really dumb mistakes on a brake job on the other car and then coaching my son's little league team. Hope all who went had a nice time.
