I pretty much finished everything yesterday but did not get to installing the sub-woofer, will do that at a later date. I love the two tone interior.....looks factory, it's understated but really, really nice, just like it should of been on a custom car.

Before, I had already upgraded the dash surround and hazard switch to CF, and the alcantara headliner.

After shots in the garage, need to get some good final pictures of everything:

Here's everything that was upgraded in no particular order, got most of the leather parts from a guy on ebay.de who was parting out a GT3, got some others from a guy in Seattle, and the CF trim pieces are new, ordered them from DCarbon in Germany, well worth every cent, really needed it.

I actually bought two sets of leather pieces that go adjacent to the windshield, I used the ones with the stitching. If anybody wants the other two pieces, I'll sell them for $100 shipped. The one shown in the middle here.

I have both a CF cover for the stock ignition cover that I glued on (and am using) plus have the leather one.

Here is a picture of the leather one installed, I guess I can change as required!

Here are the DCarbon pieces, oh so nice but what a PITA to install. You have to take the steering wheel and other parts to easily get to the screws, which is still not easy. And the passenger side airbag for the other side.

I bought a cashmere console on ebay, took it apart and painted it, came out GREAT!

Diablo's short shifter went in, was super easy to install.

The center console is super nice! Really makes the interior not look so plastic, the way it was meant to be.

I also put a four stalk switch assembly on for the trip computer and wired it in with this wiring harness, must get it re-coded to work.

Absolutely required to remove the horizontal trim:

Here's my tool, please don't make fun of the bend, it's what I was given.....would be hard to do the job without it.

Looks nice! I'm looking to add some black to my gray interior as well.

How did you remove the pieces from the dash on the sides (with the vents and headlight switch)? I'm gonna have to replace mine with black pieces as well!

It's super easy, two screws on the side, and for the passenger side, just pop the vent cover, and there is one more torx screw that goes into the dash, see the pink piece in the picture, it's the receiver for the screw. The headlight is the same way, but you pull the headlight switch out towards you about 1/2", then put a small screw driver in at 6 o'clock and it releases the switch cover that you turn, then the screw it exposed.

Apline: I would say the car drives more like an Acura now. Took off the Pfister exhaust mod and pulled two of the six spark plugs. It feels much more safe now.

Short shifter details:

Agency Power 996/986/997/987 Short Shift Kit & Billet Shift Linkage
