Stabilize your fuel.
Over inflate tires to 58 PSI.
Use battery maintainer.
All maintenance up to date, including fresh oil.

"cover muffler tips. rat bait/poison in engine bay. "
I suppose under the right circumstances, this would be good advice. It leads me to ask though, where are you "storing" this thing? If you're looking to "cover all the bases" you may want to think about security as well..

I'm by no means an expert, but I've always heard that the engine will not get hot enough. If you can't drive it pretty hard for 30 minutes, better off not starting it. Once again, this is only what I've been told. My car is a dd, but currently has 2ft of ice/snow in front of it, so until I get time to dig her out, she's sitting put.

None of the storage places close to me have electric options for a trickle charge or climate control. Would you start it then? It's *** cold here November-March. It was -4 today.
