Well I have been blessed with a marooned week at home due to snowmaggedon 2015. I figured why wait until spring? Here is my list of projects for the week..
-Oil change with OEM Porsche filter and 0w40 Mobil 1
-Motor Mount swap
-clutch booster spring upgrade
-fuel system treatment
-clay/wax
I'm excited to get my hands dirty on this car, and it's very nice to do projects I want to do, not things I "have" to do!
Lol I did two very important projects the other day while waiting for AAA to come give me a jump (I left the lights on one day at work).
- Changed the wipers
- Replaced the gas cap. The strap / attaching thing broke on the old one and it was making my OCD go nuts. This project sorta failed. The old strap wasn't coming out of whatever was holding it in (screw/nut?).

This is a great post -
1. It gets those of us at northern latitudes fired up about spring being on the way (it is finally light out when I leave work now).
2. This looks like my list (and I suspect many others as well).
3. The "things I want to do" always has a nice ring to it!
I autopsied the oil filter and that came back with a clean bill of health, not a single shimmer or speck, I felt like an old prospector panning through the pleats of the sluethbox.
Motor mounts were amazingly easy.. Wow. Took literally 20 minutes.
I did a full undercarriage inspection, checked the belts, fluids and then headed out of the garage for lunch.
