I must admit. I like the lights...they are lights for God sakes...but I am thoroughly ashamed of the the valve stem caps. I mean...geez.

Luke finds out his Porsche is actually 996 and Obi-Wan lied to him about it being a 997.

I love mine! I drove it around bone stock and just loved it. 99.9% of the public think its a $100K car

I had no intention of changing anything until I started to work on it, which I love. But for spring its getting an aero kit and 19" wheels. I'll probably regret the difference in ride, but its gonna be one badass bitch.

For the low price I got it at, it seems crazy not to make it even more outrageous And if I want to sell it, someone will most likely come along with enough cash that I can buy two!

You didn't read it wrong, but your memory is poor. He posted pictures of two of his nieces, in swimwear.

I'm ashamed of my horrifc handwriting...that's about it.

...oh, and the way I broke up with an International Projects Manager at Boeing 10 years ago. That girl was hot, and smart...and really hot.

My 1st goal in searching a used model was finding one that was completely original. Each model change should and can stand on its own IMO. A friend (who owns a mini) said "yeah but when I see your car coming from behind it looks like a boxster".....didn't justify a response. If I want it to look like a 997 I'll buy one.

A friend (who owns a mini) said "yeah but when I see your car coming from behind it looks like a boxster".

Your "friend" is clearly an idiot. Beside the fact that he feels the need to belittle your car (and I'm sure there are many more reasons)

#1 - As Jay G posted - The rear end of the 996 & 986 look nothing alike
#2 - He owns/drives a mini...

Need I say more?

Jay G,
You must be "dubbly" ashamed - 2 "fake" Porsches in your driveway...Jeeezzzzzzzz

My biggest problem is to decide the one to drive that will embarrass me less that day
Of course, it is also hard to take the big grin off my face every time I get in one of them

I think the "friend" meant when he sees the cars coming from behind - as in the rear-view mirror.

That said, I've owned both cars with the same front end - 986 and 996 - and I don't really give half a poo what anyone thinks. Both cars are beautiful...

I'm so ashamed that I will only drive it at night.
