I could watch this guy all day. Anybody who thinks they need more horsepower think again. This footage is all about ***** and skill.

Three Wheelin'
I've driven the ring in a bmw 328i
Although the 993 driver is good I agree with whiteout that the 997 driver wasn't pushing as hard because he has a car worth over 180,000 euros.
I was blowing past lambos because they simply weren't pushing as hard - not because I was such a better driver - the ring isn't a race track where people race each other for the most part - most people come to just test themselves and their cars.(unless it's a sanctioned race event- in which case these guys wouldn't be on track)
And there are lots of accidents that can spook people

In Mcbit's footage I don't see the driver wearing a helmet or any protective clothing...not even sure he has a competition harness on. The guy in the first clip is also sans protective clothing but at least he has a helmet on. Considering how at and often over the limit both drivers get, that's pretty scary.
Just thinking out loud now but I wonder how efficient both drivers are with that much opposite lock in their steering. They are obviously going fast but I wonder if a clock would show they could be even faster if they were smoother? I know I wouldn't be as fast them...smooth or ragged.

Hi, that´s a 997 MkII GT3, the 3.8. No RS, no 4.0 and by the way mine
Dude, you are really pushing your car to the edge. How you drive on the Nordschleife I do not risk even on much safer tracks. Big respect.
Anyway, you could have the video longer, I enjoyed seeing you cornering afterwards

Hi Norbert
That drive with you was just awesome
It was just amazing to drive behind you.
Yes I saw you had a perfect save line.
I hope to see you soon again on the Nürburgring to have together some fun
