Default Speedyellow

Well -- I have not been able to get out of my office to drive a C4S -- I can not make my final choice until I drive it. Then I will move toward purchase, bringing with me all the knoweledge people have provided.

One thing keeps popping up -- Speedyellow!

Each time I see a picture of the 911 in this color I like it more and more.

What is the thought on this color -- resale? Some say it is hard to maintain!

I like the more unusual colors on the 911 --- I like the Lapis on the C2 very much - I have not seen a C4S in the Lapis.

Any comments ?

You know the one thing I really like about this forum -- It has spell check!!

With my typing skills still back on a royal manual and my dyslexia I very much appreciate it.

IF I CAN ONLY REMEMBER TO USE IT!

I hope my old English teachers are not reading!

If I was to get 911Turbo or GT3, I'd get it in speed yellow.

On my BoxsterS it looks cool and clean.. not that hard to maintain, where black is worst.

Question isn't speed yellow a cop magnet?

i love speed yellow but i am a chicken when it comes to cops

i'm afraid the cops will also see my car as "speed" yellow when they pull me over! lapis is more forgiving. i was even given a warning for 42mph in a 25mph zone.

if i lived in germany i'd get speed yellow but not here in the u.s.a.

I have a SY Aerokit 996 and I love it. I have to tell you though that wherever you go people look ALL THE TIME and after 3.5 years of that it's getting a little old on me. I've had 5 P-cars in "normal" colors and none looks as beautiful (to me) as this one... Not sure about the attention it gets though... Just get what you really like, you're going to loose sooooo much money on it when/if you sell that in my opinion, you should ignore that and just go for what YOU like

LOVE THE SPEED YELLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have had many cars and this color is a winner for this car.... Have made some mods like painted bumpers, clear side lights and it is definetely a head turner. I get pulled over in my silver BMW 745 3 X year but have yet to be stopped since I got it in October in the Porsche 996 TT

Get Speed yellow!!! I have no regrets about getting speed yellow, it was the best decision for me. It is also how amazing how much attention speed yellow gets compared with other colors (from cops as well). Don't get speed yellow if you are uncomfortable with people gawking.

I spent a year looking for a 993 that I liked. During that year, I didnt see any Speed Yellow 993's for sale that fit my criteria, so I really tuned that color out. 993's with all the common colors came available for sale during the coarse of that year. Adventurine Green was good, but at that point, I prefered the blue colors with grey interior. Then one day I see a Speed Yellow 993 in the paper for sale. Ended up buying it and have not regretted it (yet).

I didnt want red because of the legal attraction as well as I didn't want to attract attention to myself. Now I believe Speed Yellow is even more visible. Oh well.

Speed Yellow is a great color.
