you often get what you pay for...
I wonder where it is made China?

I have heard the el-cheapo regulators fail rather quickly
YMMV

Pass! I returned that exact one to that exact seller, was a pain in the *** of a process.

I could not get the thing aligned as well as the factory one and probably wasted 4 hours with the door panel off. No matter what I did, it was not dropping the window evenly when the door handle was pulled.

I thought I was going nuts, but finally went and spent the $250 on the factory one. What do you know? I set the screws identical to the broken one I removed and was up and running perfectly in 20 minutes.

I recently changed both of my window regulators from the same ebay seller. It works great and I'm satisfied. I bought it cause over 200 units were sold.

Don't do it or you'll be replacing them again soon. Go OEM.

I concur on the OEM. Did my drivers side a few months ago, everything went perfect with the OEM regulator. I made sure to mark the position of the bottom brackets. Never looked back on this repair and it is a good feeling I may never have to do this again.

Everyone on this site will tell you "you get what you pay for" and "fix it right or don't fix it". That's ridiculous in my view. A business person will always consider ROI. I often cut corners to save money with great results. Why is there such an abundance of after market solutions that are far cheaper than OEM? Because there's a market for them. According to these posts you can buy 2.5 of these over time and break even. I have no idea if this works or not but I'm a fan of good enough.

As this seems like a tricky, fiddle job - and 2+ hours of labor at a shop, best to go with OEM.

Thanks for the feedback.

I think there is a time and place for "good enough" as rwiii believes, and there is a time and place for "buy the best".
If the labor to replace a part is substantial, buying the longest lasting or highest quality makes sense.
Or, if the failure of a part could cause collateral damage, using quality parts matters.
But, from what others have shared on this thread, I think I would go for the OEM window regulator.
