Beautiful 2001 RSV Mille Alpine. I had the same bike years ago. Almost bough another a few months ago. Found a 2001 R but no fun in Miami for bikes. IF I bought another it would be a Diavel Chromo. Been thru a few Ducati Monster S4s, 72' chopped and stretched Triumph T100.

Panerai, I'm a base man, to the bone... Owned a PAM 176G serial # 007, cant believe I parted with it... and 4 PAM 000s.

I've got a Triumph Daytona 675 over here. Thinking about selling it though. A buddy had a really bad accident on his bike and seeing him in the ICU for four weeks started me thinking.

Another sweet bike! I have to admit I don't really like the way Panerai has gone mainstream for some time now. I'm holding onto the one I have because its hand-wind and no longer available. Tag/Omega I have held onto for sentimental value, or else I probably wouldn't have those. Previous watches have been Tudor, Sinn, Ball, Damaskos, Fortis, Bell&Ross, IWC, Kobold.

I know exactly what you mean. I had a 2002 GSXR600 Telefonica Movistar edition. Great looking bike but i sold in 2004 when a very close friend died of an accident due to idiot drivers. Then i stayed away from bikes for a year and couldnt take it anymore(bikes are like the worst drugs) and got into motorcross bikes, at least no cars around to run you over.

I took three pinball machines down to the wood during my pinball phase. I own four of them, but rarely work on them anymore.

My watch phase involved Omega, Tag, Hamilton, Movado and Zenith. I managed to end that phase without buying a Lange, although I may be in Germany this summer, and I know where Glashutte is located. That 1815 mechanical (basically their least expensive) has had its hooks in me for a while now.

I am now hopefully in the final stages of a guitar and amplifier period, encouraged by a childhood friend who periodically shows up with difficult to find guitars and impossible to find, vintage speakers. JBL, Altec Lansing, Cetec Gauss. I've played for 50 years, but am now trying to develop some skills

I tell my wife these things are all investments, except the Porsche. I'm not sure she believes me.

I recently had a similar conversation with my wife. I told her everything I buy, I can resell at anytime and get some money back. You can't exactly do that with coffee, shoes, manicures, massages, etc. At least that's how I tried to spin it.

Default Not mechanical, but...

I started just about a year ago this week and launched it this summer in early June. I still haven't completed the sail components yet, but hope to start again this winter.

Toy steam engines. Old radios, office equipment, etc. I am also mostly through a resto (albeit amateur) on a vintage speedboat, a GT160 clone.

Motorcycles (too many to mention, specializing in Japanese sport or sport-touring), firearms and target shooting, tools of all kinds (mechanical and home building), IT stuff, reading, and travel.

I'm 53 and our two daughters have moved out of the house recently and are launching their "solo" lives. That's pure bliss, for all involved.
