I love bikes too. Here's my prized possession, 2006 Ducati Sport Classic 1000

So we have German cars and Italian bikes. What draws you to the Italian two wheelers?

I was 100% Honda all the way, I bought the Ducati because it was beautiful and they'll never make one like that again. But once I rode the Ducati I fell in love. The bikes have character and quirks and flaws that make them beautiful. They have a soul. I still have a Honda CBR600RR and it's a freaking scalpel. It's fast and light and handles amazing. But it doesn't have the soul the Ducati has.

Trapshooting eats shotgun shells ....talk about about a bunch of moving parts to break!

I'd like to get into reloading eventually, although the range of stuff I'd need to reload 9mm, .45ACP, 20-gauge, 25 caliber, 223, 38 special, and 357 magnum would probably cost a crap-ton. I'm worried that some of the more random sizes, like 25 caliber for my Belgian Browning boot pistol, may go away entirely someday...

Tough to purchase reloading powder over the last year....real or imagined shortages (?)

Prices for components have driven many out of the game.

I love being on this forum, which meant I had to post the PG-13 version of this pic. Already been warned by Admins for posting nude pics, can't risk getting banned

I too came from owning a 2006 50th Anniversary Yami but the R6 version. When I first got into riding back in 2003 and saw my first Ducati which was a Yellow/White 748 I was in awe! It was a dream to own such a beautiful bike.

There is nothing else quite like the torque and sound of the L-Twin...it is truly a beautiful experience owning a Duc!

Sweet!

I'm the one going against the grain here and not having a Ducati but an Aprilia instead.

Currently working on a BMW R100 cafe for next year to turn into this:

Awesome bike, and such an unappreciated design. It's too bad that Ducati got crap for departing from the traditional twin-headlight design, and trying something new.

I'm into anything mechanical. Like many here, I'm a bit of a watch *****. I LOVE skeleton watches where the movement is visible. My collection is Tag Heuer, Bulova, Invicta, Stuhrling, Wittnauer. Rolex and Omega are definitely on my wish list!

I worked on and tracked sport bikes for years at Barber Motorsports and the Talladega Gran Prix track. My favorite was a 2006 Kawasaki 636. I constantly outpaced liter bikes on it. My last was a CBR 1000rr that I never did mesh with.
(Sorry for the quality, picture of a picture in my office!)

I also fly glow and electric RC Airplanes, although not as much as I used to! I couldn't afford to get into jets!

I rebuilt this bike from ground up last summer

Whenever I can't find anything else to do this is my getaway.

Mechanical watches are my thing too. But more of a Breitling fan. This one is the Bentley Motors 6.75mm
