I just did the KBB on our 01 C4 coupe the other week and was shocked to see they say it would be 26 if the paint and wheels were in good shape. Other that the lack of Aerokit and the interior and exterior colors (well, we deleted the sunroof too) our's is specd like a ME.
So $10k difference? For only 30-40k more on the clock?
I can see the milage being a detractor, but I would expect the limited edition to at least wash that out.
Dunno, like I said, just seems low to me, but then I've been complaining the last month or so about seemingly overpriced specimens...

I agree though, I think they are close 70% of the time, the rest they obviously used a random number generator...

When the body has been bent up(presumed from rebuilt title) you can make anything out of it you want, then wrap it in vinyl.

Not sure why we (NA crowd) seem to collectively think that the dtent is a final solution while the TT guys understand that it's just a stop gap and the synchro is going to have to be replaced. At what a transmission rebuild costs them I'd expect them to be far more willing to stick their heads in the sand...

Upon taking delivery of the car in late 2013 it was obvious that the clutch was shot, so that triggered several other "take-care-of" items while I had the car up in the air and the tranny off.

The detent-fix was done as a precautionary measure - same as the IMS upgrade.

That's cool. That should indeed keep the synchro from getting chewed up then or at the very least postpone it much longer than the post pop out replacement.
