Nice score! Looks like you already have a donor motor for it? What happen to the original motor? Thanks for sharing the photos.

Anyone scout their local copart auction yard for salvage 996 cars? I have been watching a certain YouTube personality that’s has rebuilt a 996.1 C2 over the past few months that was found on copart. The Atlanta area has a few 996 cars available.

The one below has a wrap and odd looking lobster-claw painted wheels. But may be something I would consider. I’m not looking for a garage queen but I don’t want a basket-case laced car either. $20k is around the budget for me. Don’t mind fixing small things here and there

I think the timing chain snapped. The owner tried to restart it and caused more damage I imagine.
I bought a 50K mile mile factory replacement from a forum member ($6K) and it's running like a champ!
Black on black.

Default Heavily Optioned 996 C4S Cab

Very Nice, Low miles ( The full page C4S Cab ad at the time says: "The Hours your 911 sits parked. You don't those get back.)
Time capsule type car

I'd like to see option/Window sticker or better yet, who ordered it. It's one of those cars someone had a reason to build it like that.

Midnight Blue possibly,
P77 Heated Sport Seats, Lots and lots of dark wood, Deviating Carpet, Sav Beige, lots of Metropol Blue leather, Aluminum Shifter and eBrake, probably has Stainless Sills. CD changer.

Big dollar ask though,

I don't think it's worth $28K, but someone might.
That interior would work better in Carmine Red or Rain Forest Green.

That blue works better in Black or G/S Gray.

This thing has been for sale for MONTHS. Did see it once on the street. Considering how much it would cost to remove wrap & do a proper detail might still be to much $$$.

I can't figure out why this one hasn't sold. It seems to a pristine car from the ad. 6 owners though...

C4S for a steal at this price. Or is it? Original engine 152k?

I know, I don't think it's worth 28K, let alone 48K

That owner would be lucky to get low 30's 33k in hand would be a really nice deal for him in my opinion. 48k, it might seem like a nice car. Its just too controversial with those options. Doubt Ims was done either. For some reason old guys and original owners never do them.
