Burning Brakes
http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/m...594692537.html Pretty clean looking for the miles if you ignore the supplementary badging, and it comes with normal wheels as well.

Vehicle claims to be in CA, but has FL plates. Super sketchy description. No reserve. Yep, everything sounds legit

Have you looked at registration in CA vs FL? If you had the option to keep your FL registration and plates I bet you would too
Going the other way never made since to me, but my boss kept his CA tags on his M3 here in VA for over a year until he just moved back to CA.
So it does happen and can be legit, but yes I would look at it as a warning sign when other flags are waiving too.

Not bad looking. Spare tire is missing, the seats look horrible, and there appears to be a nasty scratch on the headlight (mentioned in the details). That scratch looks too deep to polish out which probably means serious $$$ for a new housing
Well optioned, though I'm not a fan of the carbon bits.

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/5615146464.html [2004 C2, Coupe, 6MT, Lapis Blue/Gray, 2-owner, 119k, $19.9 asking]
This looks interesting, if the mileage doesn't scare anyone off. Might be a bit highly priced, but it doesn't seem all that common to find 996.2s in decent shape for sub-20k these days.

A Shareless Plug.
Sorry guys, but much as I've enjoyed the somewhat "sterile" yet wonderful attributes of this fantastic 2003 996 C4S, I've retrogressed to an 85 Carrera Cab (just gotta have an air cooled drop-top). So this incredible car is available.

GLWS looks like a great car.
How long are you willing to sit on it? As disgusting as the idea is, I think you are 3-5k high on the price
I think your car is worth it, but I expect it will sit at that price until the perfect match comes along. You could get lucky and it happens soon, but it could also take awhile.
I do wish you luck though and hope I'm wrong

Very nice car. I think it's priced right personally considering the somewhat rare color for C4S, options, low miles, tasteful upgrades. GLWS

Of course $35k for his looks like a bargain against that Cab for $40k
Sure the 4S Cabs are rare, but it has zero upgrades and few details compared to Curt's car.
