I have an 03 996 with black regular interior and am looking for full leather door panels but apparently there are several part numbers out there depending on the year of 996.
Has anyone swapped door panels from different year 996s and do they all fit? They all look the same, I don't know why Porsche changed the part numbers every couple of years.

call a dealer and give them your VIN...they'll look it up....did that for my red belts

I was hoping someone has swapped panels from 996.1 to 996.2 or back. I hesitate to buy a set and then find out the mounting holes or something else not apparent has changed.
Externally they look identical but they have different part numbers.
