Default 10 mm seat lowering

There is a 04 996 GT3 listed for sale that has a factory 10 mm seat lowering. How was this done and can I do this to my 997.1 adaptive sport seats. I need a little room when wearing a helmet. I also put this in the 997 forum.

I have this option....seats at max lowered is a little lower(I assume it's 10mm) than non lowered seats.
I think it's the seat brackets that make the difference

Is it the rear pivot point? I was looking at mine brackets tonight and it looks like there may be room at the rear pivot point to drill a lower hole. This may work but with all the stuff that is placed there they may not clear. I may pull my seat to check this out. It couldn't be as easy as my 74 Datsun 240Z I owned in the 70's. It had 2 thick plastic washers, both came to around 1/2" or so. I guess I can't get that lucky again.
Does any body have some pictures of the bracket and zoom into the pivot point. This part may have changed between the 996 and 997.1

Does it have manual slider on us spec seats? I'm thinking manual Boxster sliders...
