Is there a site where can find out what options a car has from the vin number? I just bought car without a option sticker. Is there anyone on this site that can tell me? Frank

I used to be able to use https://admin.porschedealer.com/ but the site has been looked for dealers only. Your local Porsche dealer can get this information for you and print out the results.

For a while that admin.porsche was working and you were able to get a build sheet from it but recently it hasn't been working. Now it requires a login and password.

You can obtain this by e-Mailing Porsche directly. https://my.porsche.com/usa/dialogue/...ion/contactus/

It still works, but you have to know the whole URL. If you just replace the VIN in this one it should work if it has the info. You just can't browse any more.

Now that said, don't trust the information. That one, for example is my wife's car. It is a C4, not a Targa

https://admin.porschedealer.com/repo...AA2991XS624922 says VEHICLE IS NOT AVAILABLE.

Did seller say why the options sticker is missing?

I agree...my car is listed as a 6-speed (it is actually a tip.....my wife was going to nix the idea of buying a 5th car)

There's a VIN decoder at www.decodemyporsche.com which gives you all factory options, plus MSRP, production date and other info but it only works on 2002+ MY Porsches and it's 10$...

Here's the universal Porsche VIN decoder. It shows extended tech info for US VINs.
