Default Panamera wheels on a 996?

Searched this and other forums, and no info, but I am tempted by a set of Panamera (2008) 18inch rims for my 2003 C4S (Tip).
Was hoping somebody else had tried this, and for any tips or advice prior to me taking the plunge (even if its 'don't do it'!!).
I have been offered a set from a 2008 with winter tyres (unused ). Rears are a little narrower (9 not 11). I am aware the tyres will probably not fit but am keen to use the rims, as I like the look (10 spoke), and then can recycle the tres to recover some of the cost.
Any observations appreciated...

It'll come down to offsets and tire sizes. Without knowing that, there is no way to tell if they will fit.

Factory wheels are gonna be heavier and also higher offsets. Plus most of the ones I've seen are ugly IMO.
