The numbers look good. How about at 3k rpm? It should read about 19g/s. If that's also correct, I suggest you clean the MAF like Kalasnikov said. After that would be following the Porsche diagnostic to check for wiring issues. You don't need the special DME breakout tool, which just makes it convenient and prevent you from shorting or measuring other pins by mistake.

However, you HAVE to disconnect the battery, unplug the DME, and the MAF before measuring the resistance of any wires between the DME harness and the MAF.

Thanks Ahsai. I forgot to check at 3K rpm but I'll do that tomorrow. I cleared the codes and they haven't come back yet so I'll wait with the measuring for now.

BTW, the P0102 code is complaining that the MAF signal is lower than expected. The signal strength is proportional to the amount of air sucked in. MAF doesn't affect engine control much until the revs are higher (so it has almost no effects at idle). Reduced signal could be because you have a wire break (could be intermittent) between the DME and the sensor. Or that signal wire is shorted to the ground. That's what the diagnostic steps are asking you to verify.

Checked today with warm engine. 17.56 g/s at 3,036 rpm and 18.11 g/s at 3,176 rpm. That sounds about right doesn't it?

Yup. These are just sanity checks. It could still fail or drop out at other rpms.
