Default Its Official...my 996 Sold!

Finalized the transaction today. Buyer flew in to drive my baby home with him. He is a new Rennlister so please be nice to him.

So, this means that I am officially out of the 996 world. Can someone grant me a Visitor's Pass or Lifetime Emeritus Status please? The 997 guys just don't get me.

This just happened for me, today, too.

I'm Porscheless for the first time in an awfully long time!

Congrats Gonzo! I never doubted that car would sell. The buyer got a very nice car at a wholesale price. Don't be a stranger - the NA 996 forum is the happenest place on Rennlist.
Congrats to you too, Pontifex!

Gonzo, I was following your other thread on this. I'm glad it has moved onto another owner, and a new enthusiast to boot !

Go to the 993 board and ask what it would take to transplant an M96 engine into the car just to see the reactions you get.

Can you just imagine the responses? I think most of those guys would stroke out typing a comeback. The thread title could be "How to waterboard your 993"

I nominate KK. He's already a favorite in the 944 Forum.

Why do you think the 997 board has no humor? Have you tried any of your clever babe pics? Have you sold your 996 yet Pete? When is your 997 arriving? Too many questions.

Okay, it's been about 24 hours for me. Does anyone know of a clean, higher-mileage 996 for sale on the west coast?

I guess I say that in jest..but I have been reading a 89 page thread called "what did you do to your 997 today", most answers have been I washed it, I looked at it and then I washed it again. Have to say though ***** always bring guys together. Had some nibbles on the car. It's on Ebay at the moment. As for the 997, I won't see that until Feb 2015. Long wait at Flat6. The time gives me a chance to pick some items up like a 82mm throttle body and plenum, 3rd rad and hopefully soon the aerokit package from Suncoast.
