Default Another noob here! Just saying hi!

Hey fellow Porsche enthousiasts!

New proud owner of a 996 Carrera 2 here .

I read tons of valuable stuff here on Renlist over the last few years and finally registered to the forums when I bought the car.

Just wanted to thank everybody who are posting DIY's and great information that helped me make an informed purchase.

The car has 75 000km (47 000Miles I think) and recently had the clutch replaced, as well as water pump and brake pads. IMS bearing wasn't changed but is still good according to my mechanic and the one who changed the clutch.

The car is running great and I have butterfies in my stomach everytime I start the engine! It's my daily driver so I will take extreme good care of it to make sure it's always 100%.

Since I bought it I changed a tie rod, front tires (continental ExtremeContact to match the rear) and did alignment. I'm doing the muffler hack today!

Thanks also to Rombotis Tuning in Montreal who is taking care of my baby, I would have never bought the car without having a good mechanic near my house.

I always love that angle from the rear where the wide tires become prominent.

thanks guys!
I will post more pics later!

I went to my shop today to get the exhaust ''hacked''. Turned out the first bypass has already been done. The car felt so quiet, I got the other bybass done between inlet and outlet and it now sounds like a beast!!

that's how it was this morning before the operation:

I don't have ''after'' pics but I got a 1,5'' tube connection the 2 pipes.

WOW! I love my car even more now.
